I have spent time with AxelWolf in person on more than one occasion, and he knows what he's talking about.

He's not a shill of any kind.

As one of the callers into radio said, the casino was paying out the $500 vouchers as promised during the first week, and then got fed up with it and started 86ing people.

Axel is just advising that people not automatically jump to conclusions regarding the report of non-payment of jackpots, because this "Bear Necessities" person isn't known, and there could be parts of the story missing. Or, as someone mentioned, he could have just been collateral damage to some other shenanigans going on.

Something obviously happened here, but Axel is just saying that you need to take all reports like this cautiously.

Unfortunately, the casino is unlikely to make a statement about this. At the very least, they got smacked by some advantage players during the first week of this, and eventually had to end the promo early after 86ing some people. Not exactly stories they want promoted.

Can anyone explain why the fuck anyone would have $30,000 in vouchers for this play? Please, anyone? That's what I thought, because there is no need to have that much in vouchers. That part, with damn near certainty, is complete bullshit.

Yeah he's claiming he heard that from a third party, so it's possible that he was told BS by someone, or it was exaggerated, or he is exaggerating.

Weird situation all around. Something seems to have happened, but it's hard to tell exactly what.

That isn't entirely true, as go_buccos pointed out. This article discusses some of the circumstances under which legal recourse may be available. A phone call to Bob Nersesian is worth your time, imo. I would do it asap, he may be able to force them to retain the videotapes showing what happened and this can help your case. It may specifically interest him if this is happening to other players on an ongoing basis.

    Make 'em pay!

I was just told that Agua Caliente contacted all affected parties and offered to pay them, after the mainstream press had apparently been alerted to the situation.

These people are still 86'd, but are supposedly getting paid.

Or at least that's what I've been told.

Good Job. They got the wrong guy to give the brush off to. Did they?
