gulfstream park is a beautiful place. i was here a few years ago. their poker room resembled a palace. huge open, opulent space. at least when i was there.

depends what you are looking for, i'm sure you will want to check out the Hollywood Hard Rock the crowd is mostly tourists,
the Isle of Pompano (Pompano Park Horse racing - trotters) seems to be preferred by many local NLH players, the staff at Gulfstream is not friendly imo but they really updated the place and it's fun to watch the ponies run there (racing is out of season now), Mardi Gras has a new poker room, mostly (Hollywood Dog Track)
avoid Coconut Creek the poker room is a dump, i hear good things about Palm Beach Kennel Club but why bother when i have so many places close by, oh and Calder (behind Dolphins Stadium) has a nice poker room but not many players during the times I was there but cheap MTT's & SNG's

i'll meet you on the 9th or 11th if you want but don't ask for a box fan or cheese

I play at the Isles. Actually headed there now. Nice room, frequent 5/10 2/5 games(not that i play them). Dont like the mandatory $2 on button at the kennel club so I don't play 1/2 there. Might be better if you play higher.

Hollywood Hard Rock pretty much straight shot when you get across Alligator Alley 2 hour drive

Collins Ave is A1A and Gulfstream Park is on US1, should be a bus straight to there, the next block up is Mardi Gras Casino (Hollywood Dog Track) but you will have to walk across a big parking lot or just take a Taxi to any of them
