Serch can tell a story
You look at him today and you just can’t believe
But that’s all secondary to the quality of the storytelling.
Was this guys music big in the strip club in your day atine
honestly not in the slightest. very few girls danced to anything blacker than r kelly because, IM SORRY BUT ITS JUST TRUE, black people -GENERALLY- didnt have a lot of money to tip so they had to appeal to their financial base.
but they trotted out bump & grind when like a pro basketball player would show up with his entourage.

I heard through the grapevine some of his music would even cause office workers to lash out against their monotonous jobs and terrible bosses
Wow LOL
Ghetto Boys were a great rap group when i was growing up.
When i was younger my Older Cousin and 4 of his friends all worked at KFC
I made a rap song on a tape called Chickens playing tricks on me.
I taped it on a old water bed were u could plug a mic into the bed and u could record yourself cuz it had a tape deck. lol..
I played the instrumental in the back as I rapped it
It came out good and would still play today.
No lie its a great song and someone still got that tape no doubt it got dubbed a bunch.
At Night I cant sleep i toss and turn mash potatoes in the dark visions of chickens being burned
Hot wings just starring at a cook
I thought it was Kernal Sanders til I took a second look.
RIP

I was thinking he looked pretty much the same. I’d have recognized him instantly, which is a win at this age. I saw him in Columbus when I was 19ish, and he was around awhile already. He has to be early fifties minimum. He did tell a good story though. I remember when Bushwick shot himself in the eye when all fucked up, so I imagine there’s a lot of stories to tell.
