My wife and i stopped paying for cable in 2011, when a move forced us into a situation where our cable options were limited. Haven't looked back since.

Highly recommend cutting the cord. So easy to seek out any content that you want to watch and acquire it directly. And legally.

but yes YouTube TV is god. 70 for 400 mb internet, 50 for YTTV, Amazon Prime, and then Roku has more content than you could ever watch. Stream PPV through the TV browser or Android box. I just ditched netflix and all pay subscriptions. I did get Hulu for .99/month but will cancel that when the trial over. I don't bother with OTA stuff.

I tried most of the streaming options and I liked YT best based on pricing, channel options, original content. Fubo was ok but didn't have all the channels that the wife wanted. DirectTv sucked, Sling was ok but kind of pricey for the package I wanted.
