Weak:
Sounds like he has been one step ahead of all of his opponents
Very close game tonight but GOT EM!
That old man was a tough beat.
I actually held my breath tonight.
Yeah, I thought the old man had him.
I love the story more than the actual game if you know what I mean.
However, I happened to tune in midway. James had a look like he knew he was off his game and was probably beat. He was visibly drawing blanks.
Then he got a few answers, the tempo picked up and you knew all was right with the world.
He looked genuinely relieved - like he knew he was on the ropes.
It was a good take.
Shows that he's human.
However, he bet enough on Final Jeopardy to where he was clinched to win it provided he got the answer right, and he also would have won it if they both got it wrong.
Top ten score in a regular Jeopardy game and highest non winning score. That other guy is really, really good.
Keep in mind that they record an entire week of shows in one day, so tonight's episode will have been recorded within an hour or so of last nights. I hope he pulls himself together.
From last night:
He's bacccccck over 100k tonight.
When they introduced the woman in the middle as a stay at home mom I nearly laughed out loud... the other guy was decent to start but mid way through the first round it was clear, James was in control.
Teachers Champ Tourney starts next week so ? Wonder if this will drag on for weeks?
He tied for second most wins in a row all tonight with 20.
Just won game 22 in a row 1.69M earned thus far, now a 2 week break for Teachers Championship.
I wonder how far a head they tape, think they already have games taped to run after teachers week? Or he literally has to wait two weeks now?
I was thinking about this earlier as someone who don't watch the show every night from what I have seen in the past they very rarely (almost never) put the daily double in the highest amount yet it keeps happening for James lately which many are on the first question he picks.
The only other category with a lower percent of daily doubles (probably none) is the lowest question amount ($200 single / $400 double jeopardy).
It feels as if they don't want him pulling away so early in the the first round but in the second round the daily doubles aren't in the $2000 amount.
From observing this James might want to consider in round 1 for as good as he is and how most opponents aren't daily double hunters to pick all of the cheap questions first so he has more to go all in on when the daily double comes.
Two weeks wait will suck and I also wonder how many more with James are recorded as well.
Todge can you track James down and tell him one of ur fucktard posters has some thoughts on his strat
Break it to him gently of course
In short, no.
If you watched the last game he got the DD immediately at $200 or $400 at the start of round 1. Not helpful at all since the game just started and he had $0, he did get it right and that gave him $1000.
Also in terms of DD located in higher amounts in second round is not rare at all. James starts at the bottom in round 2 and he does that to build the bank roll prior to getting the DD which is counter to your theory.
Again, in short, no.
Here is a cool link of a guy who tracks the stats of James vs Ken through the whole first 22 games. There is no doubt James is simply better in each and every way. He gets more right, bets larger and only has I think 7 or 8 more DD hits than Ken had through the first 22 games. Check it out, guy is just dominating.

Dude wtf are you talking about you can't be serious here he pulled the daily double on the latest episode first question taking Literature for $1000 like he starts off the right to the top amounts?
Very rarely do they go in the 2nd amount ($400 or $800) but someone show me a video clip to prove to me they do come up in the $200 top question in round 1 because I can't tell you I've ever seen it. I won't say it's never happened not watching every day but I need some video proof here.
Obviously James stats are better then Ken's nobody is denying that. The one thing we can say about Ken is he played when the amounts were $100 to $500 and $200 to $1000 so he didn't have the same ability to get to these ridiculous numbers that James can.
Whenever Ken came back for tournament of champions he basically looked like shit compared to his long 74 days on the show.
