    Haven’t seen it yet. I had dismissed it initially as I do all Marvel CGI tripe.

    However, everything I see is gritty and unique. Clearly worthwhile.

    I saw the movie in IMAX and Dolby w/ the reclining seats. This movie’s score alone warrants going to the theatre, and I would go with the dolby cinema experience if I had to choose between the two.

    This is so totally random but I will put this here

    I see hints of Gary Oldman in Leon The Professional. Little mannerisms I see in Phoenix on the subway platform, for instance.

    Oldman’s Hallway Beethoven scene is one of my all time favorites.

    I haven’t seen the movie but my kid and his cousins all loved it....they range in age from 17 to 23.

    I thought the movie only resonated with middle aged white guys.

    i thought it was meh

    two hours plus, and i could basically tell you everything that happened in 15 seconds

    joaquin was GREAT, but was underwhelmed overall


    the grouch snl bit was 100x more entertaining imo

    It was ok. I was actually very impressed with Todd Phillips. The film had an interesting take from the other side of the aisle on the Wayne family.

    I'm going to go against the consensus here and call this one of the most tedious and pointless films I've watched to the end. Phoenix gives a great performance but it's still a great performance in a shitty film. It's just a mentally ill man whose life is collapsing with a few Batman hooks shoehorned in.

    I just watched this yesterday. It’s a snippet of Johnnys life story and I have invited him over for a view of it but instead of clown attire he will be sporting full geisha. He will be a wreck after this and hopefully I won’t get stabbed. Grey Gardens was a bit more than he could handle so should be interesting.
