Pete, the problem is, from a technical perspective, you were using too many different words to describe that it was
"roolkit malware virus" strictly speaking its either one of those 3, or 2 of those at best.

As Druff pointed out its a radio show not a techn support phoneline. If you had narrowed your call to "Theres a nasty problem with VPR that if you follow certain links you'll get a nasty infection and the solution is to do X" it would have come across a lot better and a lot more like you weere doing a good thing than just bagging on them.

That said, there is no doubt Druff took every opportunity to cut me off during my recent 'phone in' visit to Poker Fraud Alert Radio.

Initially Druff criticized me for jumping into the radio conversation before being told to speak. I think he forgot that he had no producer for the show. I called in, heard VWLS, and said hello VWLS? That was it. I had no idea if I was on air or not. No one responded to my call.

Anyway, after listening to Druff's defense of Vegas Poker Radio and their virus issue, I was invited to speak.

Druff quickly cut me off and told me to post my advice for dealing with the Vegas Poker Radio virus on the forum.

OK, fine. I understand Druff is close with Jasep and didn't want me to relate anything negative about Vegas Poker Radio.

The fact is I knew that the VPR rootkit virus could wreak havoc with any PFA member who visited Vegas Poker Radio via an infected link.

Then Drexel chimed in and inadvertently saved the day.

His initial question implied that I had something to do with Vegas Poker Radio's virus problems. I believe my response dispelled that.

Although I've had disagreements with Jasep on PFA, Drexels implication was hurtful and baseless.

Anyway, Drexel's questions kept me on air. It was an OK segment. Vwls asked me about my recent back and forth with a few PFA members over some non-issue. I laughed and said it was no problem. As far as I was concerned, debating the haters was like shooting fish in a barrel.

The real question, brought up by at least one another PFA member months ago is, what is the relationship between Poker Fraud Alert and Vegas Poker Radio?

It's like the elephant in the room here. I don't get it.

This has to be the 2nd most retarded thread that PFA has ever had.

1. Calling in and whining that you picked up a virus from VPR was terrible radio. No one wants to hear an old mans technical issues on a non tech podcast.
2. VPR has properly addressed the situation and are fixing that problem along with some other things that need to be corrected. Oh and by the way there are hundreds of sites like VPR that have had this problem. 2 plus 2 was hacked and did you make 1 post about it? No.
3. No one wants to hear your political views or your conspiracy theories. And just because someone who is sane does not agree with your ideology does not make them a troll.
4. There is no elephant in the room. Druff, Drexel, China and Jasep are working to make each respective site better.
5. Nobody cares that you were or are a master debater or have spoken in Congress. Your recent posts have completely discredited you from that.

Just my honest opinion on this matter.

Hi Pete, I'm pretty sure that when Druff spoke, he was just trying to avert a lengthy 'tech talk' segment dealing with computers and viruses.

I promise you that was the only reason. Sorry you interpreted it differently - there was no other intent. Thanks for helping everyone out by posting information regarding computer-cleansing. It's truly appreciated.

As far as asking you for other ACR funds in a swap, there is nothing wrong with that. BTW, it was $55 (Visa Debit that ACR no longer accepted) and I thanked you for considering it. I recall that you said you had completely forgotten about it but couldn't do it anyway because you lost in the ACR Sportsbook. I appreciated that you tried to help.

Another PFA member generously donated the $5 to a PFA free roll. I won it and never gave it another thought. That member had the $5 on a poker site I did not belong to at that time. He graciously contacted the 'other PFA members' to facilitate the swap payment to a poker site I did play on. I never pushed him about payment. He kindly and regularly contacted me to make sure I was paid. I consistently told him not to worry about it. He paid the $5 to another member who for some reason was not able to send it to me.

I believe you sent me the $5 and that other member sent $5 to you. I thanked you at that time and I thank you again.

There was a long delay but it wasn't the fault of the original member who donated to the free roll and it was not your fault either. I was never concerned about it but I was appreciative of the original member's efforts to follow up with me and I was thankful for your help too.
