It was a joy to wake up on the East coast and see the show still going at about 6:00 AM. Tried calling in to congrat Druff on his return to making long radio shows, but he begged off taking the call.

As if we on the forum are somehow unfairly critical. You understand they are a massive failure? They were in bankruptcy? That their assets would be put to better use by almost anyone else according to Icahn?

The whole Gary Loveland Loyalty marketing program was a perversion of the founding principles of Vegas and casinos:

Cheap food, cheap rooms, cheap booze & entertainment. Gambling pays the bills.

Everything else is financial masturbation.

Your perception is colored whilst ours is pure. The same morons who rewarded your comp whoring also ran a fail operation. On the whole, you found it a worthy bargain.

ill try to go back and listen to the segment, but yeah if you think caesars is anything other than a failure I don't know what to say...look at the numbers I post every month...their second biggest market is an absolute and total fucking fail...they didn't foresee the threat PA posed in 2006, they got fucked by it...they can't even (or probably more specifically don't want to) defend their position in the market against hard rock and ocean...ive never been a part of any business that was so averse to spending money to make money...their strategy is hope and prayer...this isn't religion, that shit don't fucking work...vegas might be good for them, but they run everything else like shit...

when your big money making push is to raise the price of guy Fieri's crazy fries (or whatever the fuck they were called) by 50 cents per order you are beyond the scope of being fucking retarded...I could go on, but i'd rather sit back and laugh at the fuckers...

It was relevant because of the new announcement of Vanessa's baby.

If I just made some negative remarks about her being a mother, some listeners (especially new ones) would have assumed it was a slam on gay parents, which it wasn't.

The Baker story from 2007 was only repeated because the new story about him involved his complaint that Tim West was "holding a grudge over something minor from 2007", and I had that exact same situation with him (a grudge held on his part over something minor from 2007), so obviously I had to mention it.

I was aware that I had told both stories before on the show.
