Video of Adam "Pacman" Jones released of him cheating in casino

He got 1 week in prison when it was all said and done, desite resisting arrest, threatening officers, and cheating in a casino.

Must be great to be black and famous. I have a feeling I'd do a lot more than a week in prison if I did all of that stuff.

How the hell did he know he got a blackjack? Doesn't seem like he looks at his cards, he just flips them over immediately after getting his second card. Black magic, I'll tell you hwat.

Only thing I can imagine is if he looked at his first card (ace), saw the dealer's upcard 6, and immediately went to double down, not looking at his 2nd card (ten), which would at least be a reasonable defense against bet-capping (IMO).

He dropped the extra bet as soon as he saw he had 20 vs dealer 6.

I don't think I've ever played where players were dealt their cards face down, how normal is this and why do they do it?

Oh, I guess the bottom card, when face up, was a queen and not an ace. Either way, doesn’t even seem like he knows what he has, since he only lifts the first card. Not that it really matters though.

Many single and double deck games are dealt face down (pitch games). You can find single and double deck games dealt face up out of a shoe, as some places, but not so common. Most notably off the top of my head, Mandalay Bay and el Cortez.

I’m not understanding why the dealer moved the back check forward on top of the one in the bet circle before payingbout? He didn’t double down, so any loose chip like that is suspect and the dealer should immediately call over the game supervisor. Wondering whether he was instructed to go along with Pacman’s cheating so that they could drop the hammer on him in that case after suspecting that he was topping his bets.
