I have serious doubts about our Biden bet Druff.

Presidents have very little influence over domestic policy. The other branch of government does that.

What Presidents can do is unilaterally wage war and if they choose .. drop Nuclear Warheads.

I tuned out of the last debate. It opened with Trump bashing - which is just a high school pep rally kinda WOT. I wanted to find out about the differences between the candidates. I guess I kinda wanted a debate. I read that this didn’t particularly ever happen. So I didn’t miss much.

Anyway, I wanted to see what was said about foreign affairs and policy. Turns out almost nothing was said. The Middle East did briefly come up. Bernie proudly stating he was squarely and publicly against it.

Then I heard Biden speak to his position at the time. Biden was absolutely incomprehensible. Pure cringe. It was an intellectual seizure. He couldn’t even string together a plausible lie like Trump.

I started to listen to more Biden. One that sticks with me was his response to the issue of domestic violence. “We need to change the culture”. “We need to keep punching away at it.

    He’s an idiot.

Biden is going to have a public seizure (gaffe) of historic proportions. Generations hence, folks will point to the moment Biden melted down.

Democrats should pray that happens in the Primaries. He will lose to Trump. That is absolutely incredible to me. The year the American Experiment died.

Maybe the Windsor’s have a spare royal. I hear Harry and Meghan Markle are looking for a house in the US. She’s blackish. It plays.

Yeah, the Biden bet is going to flame out like some backdoor cover on an interception. A moment of mammoth failure you will blame for your 3 day drunk

That money is gone Druff. Sorry buddy

I fucking love Bernie. He’s so earnest and forthright. I believe he is telling you exactly what he feels. That is so unique.

I don’t think he believes he can win. I believe he is just furthering a moral discussion. That’s important even if I don’t agree.

    Booker T Washington is appealing.

I’m trying. I’m really really trying.

Druff said some nonsense about people pretty much already decided. I’m not the political wonk but that wasn’t true last election either at this stage

the biggest red flag i have re bernie is trump saying he was glad he didnt run against bernie because bernie would have slaughtered him.

but im also starting to think maybe we are grossly overestimating trumps chances, period. a _lot_ of people gave trump a chance and it didnt go well for them so they are going to stay tf home in nov 2019.

and a _lot_ of people are going to vote for literally anyone else.

my biggest concern about bernie is going to be the martin shkreli wall street types deliberately tanking the market to prove some sort of point.

also how weird is it that fb/google are spazzing out over warren while not even mentioning how badly bernie's union agenda would be for them?

They are not bashing Trump enough.

I honestly don't give a shit about any of them.

If these Democratic candidates actually want to be President, they must threaten Trump and his family with torture as well as lifetime imprisonment.

If they did that their popularity would skyrocket.

Unfortunately, they don't have the balls to do that and they think that the people actually care about the issues. The people don't give a fuck. Trump knows this and he will continue to do whatever the fuck he wants.

ya know, if this congressional coup etat vs Trump gets close to succeeding, a nationwide general strike by Republicans would be in order

don't work, don't buy, just stay home or protest rally peacefully

The sonatine / any typical coward move:

    1. Parrot smear heard on DNC-controlled MSM

    2. Have smear refuted / evidence to the contrary provided

    3. Immediately abandon smear while refusing to explicitly acknowledge contradictory evidence, and pivot to childish insult or alternative smear

    4. Repeat a week later (often the same, refuted smear, with no alterations)

That is the level of discourse I've seen from sonatine (and the rest of the lowest common denominator on Reddit, or Twitter) - essentially, playing the role of the sheep from Animal Farm.

    ---

All of it shows anyone reading this that you, sonatine, are not earnestly in search of the truth. Instead, you seek a specific narrative, with extreme prejudice and massive blinders.

The worst part is how typical this type of interaction is. You behave without integrity, since you're semi-anonymous on the internet. This provides us a window into your true self. Embarrassing.
you have to understand sonatine doesn't really hate tulsi. all of her positions align with his. he's just concerned that she has no chance of winning and is damaging democrats in advance of the general election, which i kind of get. he doesn't want a repeat of 2016.

i just think we're in trouble if either bernie or warren are the nominees. they don't represent the majority of this country or even the democrats. we need more intelligent voices like tulsi's. also me and jim were the first people on this site to endorse her before she even declared she was running. so we're really smart.

i would also accept a living version of biden as a nominee.

look i'll vote for any democrat nominee, but a shocking number of my neighbors/work colleagues who despise trump say they would prefer him over a socialist.

    i'm officially scared.

For the record - and also for my ego - in December 2018 I also called Tulsi winning in 2020, before she even announced.

    blaaaaaaaake bitter pill incoming:

either trumps going to win because there isnt anyone at all who can beat him or trumps going to lose because absolutely anyone could beat him at this point, including a socialist.

i'm surprised you think trump's unstoppable since he's a disaster. certain candidates would fare much better in swing states like pennsylvania. not sure bernie or warren meet that description

oh you'll never get republican votes since he's their messiah but the goal is to have a chance at independents who might prefer a sociopath over a socialist
