Biden is their best hope. In this election. They should have someone better, but they don't.

Warren is good at exploiting universally hated companies/situations, and acting like she's on the common man's side.

Wells Fargo the huge bank was signing people up for accounts they didn't authorize, and Warren spoke out against it.

Facebook steals our personal data and allows it to be stolen by others, and Warren spoke out against it.

These are slam-dunk positions to take, because nobody wants to take the other side of it. Who is going to argue that Wells Fargo behaved responsibly?

However, when it comes to more complex matters such as health care and college tuition, it gets a lot tougher. These are crazy expensive reforms, and a lot of swing voters don't support them at all.

The Free Stuff Extravaganza and the Victim Olympics don't play well with blue-collar swing voters. At all.

This is where Biden has a big advantage. He's not seen as a radical who is going to hand out a ton of free stuff, raise middle class taxes, or vilify heterosexual white people. He's just a familiar-feeling, establishment Democrat who seems like a safe alternative to Trump. Plus he's going to carry Pennsylvania by default.

His biggest strength in the primary is that black people like him, while they can't relate to Warren or Bernie. People are underestimating how much Warren is going to get crushed in the primary in states with large black populations. That's what made Bernie a no-go in 2016, even if Hillary and the DNC hadn't cheated him.

clearly Druff has never heard of Tulsi, or dismisses her because she missed one of the debates by not qualifying. but she is the real voice of moderation and reason in the party who has widespread support among republicans and independents, certainly not Joe Biden. watch this.

anyone who watches this in its entireity instead of just a few minutes i will then listen to what u have to say once u heard the entire thing first.

    Tulsi is not going anywhere.

It's too late for her and everyone not named Warren, Sanders, or Biden.

However, there are rumors that she was sent by Bernie to attack Kamala Harris in that debate, and is basically running to be his VP. Much like Castro is running to be Warren's VP.

BTW, this is probably the final election of the old guard in both parties.

It's all but assured that the 2020 contest will be between two people born in the 1940s, as that's the decade which birthed Trump, Sanders, Biden, and Warren.

I guess it's possible that, if Biden wins the primary and then loses to Trump, Warren will be back for 2024. However, if Warren wins the primary and then loses to Trump, it's game over for the oldies.

I think 2024 will be a backlash against the older people, and the next President will be close to my age.

well after i signed up as a volunteer with her campaign, ive talked to the people working for her campaign in NH many times via direct messages on twitter and follow most of them. they are adamant this is not the case and list out all the things they disagree with Bernie on various issues in fact, theyre mad at many of Bernies people for misrepresenting her positions. her subsciber numbers on utube keep increasing and just passed 100,000. they feel Bernie cant be trusted and is too revoluationary and authoritarianism. she is much more in tune with the independents and liberatarians than Bernie.

in the next debate, she will destroy warren like she did Kamala Harris, and biden is losing support daily. over 60% of democrats prefer anyone but him. its inevitable she will rise to the top eventually. she is up to 6% in NH now and is climbing daily as more people learn about her and how she wants to reunite the country.

See, this is the mistake I see people making in modern Presidential elections.

Due to the vast access to information and media we have -- exponentially greater than just 25 years ago -- we are exposed to the primaries candidates much earlier, and we get to know them much better.

Nobody breaks out of the pack in the October before the primaries. Just doesn't happen anymore. Too many people have seen too much already, and made up their minds. Either you impress early, or you will lose. Trump did this correctly. He came out swinging hard immediately, and brought a completely different type of energy and message than the other Republican candidates. People kept saying, "It's still early, he will fade when the novelty wears off." He didn't fade. People incorrectly judged his early leads to be meaningless. They didn't realize that early leads are super-important nowadays -- even compared to 12 years ago.

Tulsi is so far behind that there's no shot that she becomes a viable contender, even if she has a great debate performance. The good news for you is that she is the type of candidate I could see being viable in 2024, if Trump wins again.

Pete/Tulsi sounds like a freaking amazing ticket.

Two Moderate, Millenial Vets. One isn't white, the other is gay. And they both know how to behave like adults when they need to.

i can't imagine we're at a place where being openly gay would be a positive in terms of electability. i'm not even sure that being a woman helps, though i'm torn on that one

this is the dogshit we have to choose from in 2020...a bunch of fucking morons on death's door...america what a country...

Sen. Bernie Sanders’ presidential campaign has canceled all appearances and events until further notice following a procedure for an artery blockage.

In a statement Wednesday, the senator’s adviser Jeff Weaver said Sanders “experienced some chest discomfort” during a Tuesday event. Testing found a “blockage in one artery,” and Sanders had two stents inserted, Weaver said.

“Sen. Sanders is conversing and in good spirits. He will be resting up over the next few days,” Weaver said. “We are canceling his events and appearances until further notice, and we will continue to provide appropriate updates.”

Sanders, 78, is running for the Democratic presidential nomination for the second time.

Sounds more like a Miami Vice tv show remake.

quick reminder that the 78 year old democratic candidate who has raised more money than every other candidate by a considerable margin had a literal heart attack and no one was even told for 3 days.
