As a debater or public speaker I think Pete handled that surprise left hook with remarkable aplomb. He was deadpan with his facial expression.Guess who will massively suppress minority turnout for the Dems in the general election if he is their candidate versus Trump.

I haven’t watched any of the replays since. When you see slow motion replays during penalty challenges in the NFL you are often misled as to what is a catch or football move. You gotta watch at game speed in real time. I was very impressed.
I am just continuing to rank Mayor Pete as a top tier slick public speaker. This rookie has skills.
I wouldn’t vote for him but I recognize game.

Even so, it’s still fucked up that Iowa Dem Party will “award” Buttigieg about 17% more pledged delegates than Bernie (14 versus 12) when Buttigieg has less than 0.5% more SDEs than Bernie per their “official 100%” reporting (564 versus 562). What kind of fucked up math is the Iowa Dem Party officials using to justify such a bullshit allocation?
