We don't know all of the results. But we do know that by the time it's all said and done, Iowa: you have shocked the nation. Because by all indications we are going on to New Hampshire victorious
People are reading way too much into Pete's statement. He proceeded it by saying we don't know the results. He meant "victorious" in the liberal "we're all winners" sense. He may have finished second, but is still 'victorious" in the sense that he exceeded expectations and has momentum going into New Hampshire.
Also possible he lost the popular vote by a small margin, but won the most delegates.

if im reading this correctly, this isnt a case of just 'oh we need to do the numbers by hand'. apparently the dnc staff on site counted a bunch of stuff incorrectly. what this means, all said, is that not only can they not give us the correct tally, but they will never have the correct tally. the results of the iowa caucus are lost.

I’m not a conspiracy theorist, but think about how important these caucuses are to Iowa. They legit live for this shit. They have people coming to kiss their ass 2 years out. It just feels impossible they just went to bed and were like “no biggie, we’ll count this up some other day” without getting a call from the DNC. I don’t know it, but it’s less than 200k voters total and they practice for 2 fucking years. There is photos of every vote count and backups. I can’t think of how this happens without corruption. It feels impossible the head of the Democratic Party would just call it a night unless that came from above.
