    chew on this:

warren's line hasnt budged since last night, and bloomberg's is actually recovering from that nosedive.

every media site on earth is headlining some variant of 'bloomberg is the biggest political implosion since ed muskie' and its starting to read like the blind faith hype that said hillary was going to win the white house, lotto, and the nobel peace prize at once.

the problem with going after bernie for having a million dollars and a few houses is that being a millionaire with a few houses is basically middle class at this point.

    On that?

He’s been an elected member of the house and senate for 30 years making over six figures and is 80 years old. His wife was provost of a university. You don’t have to be corrupt or not believe anything you say to have a few things by that age. That doesn’t seem a particular effective line of attack.

no i didn't mean on that subject.

but it is a bit comical for a millionaire to be complaining about wealth inequality.

uhh bernie, the average democrat voter would like to see you taxed at 95% too. i assume that's ok with him

what's horrifying is that there is an endless amount of opposition research trump's sitting on, just praying he gets to bernie, but the other dems won't even go after him

LOL! Bernie is going to DESTROY Trump in the general election! Watch this fan-made ad to learn why.

I think they realize she's toast and they don't want to roll in the mud with her at this point.

This was the first debate I wasn't able to watch live. Just watched the replay and man did I miss a good one. Bloomberg had the worst debate I've seen from anyone since Rick Perry in 2016. I can't believe he was so poorly prepared. He went from 28% on predictit down to 14%. Yikes. I don't think Bloom can buy his way out of this one. A big reason he surged is because of the media coverage he received, not so much his massive ad buy (which has diminishing returns). Now that media coverage is turning negative.

Also, this was Joe's best debate. It helped a lot having Bloomberg up there. He looked like a liberal in comparison. I pretty much agree with Daly's rankings. Biden and Warren were both good, I'd prob have Warren as the winner. Sanders was fine. Not great, but fine. Pete was not very good. Klobuchar was bad. And Bloomberg was horrific.

    LOL BOOMERS
Krypt wrote this in response to my assertion that Bloomberg had “squadrons of tattoo’d genius nerds”

I was feeling Bloomberg had the best nerds to combat Trump’s nerd.

Something obv went horribly wrong. Bloomberg may not listen. It’s possible. He may not remember he’s a Democrat in 2020. He may not know what that means and again may not want to listen.

(You know, Giuliani was a pretty good mayor of NY too and look at him now).

I wasn’t a Bloomberg guy but I thought I recognized game. I WAS WRONG. YUUUUGE

I tip my cap in your general direction.

My self esteem is still a rock when I consider that Druff so far has bet Biden then Bloomberg.

While we are walking shit back.

The night of the election I was live betting Clinton late in the 4th quarter. I got destroyed as I took increasing better odds. I didn’t get it.

I still think the populist battle is forgotten with the morons who are doing the campaign analysis.

The battle for those is Sanders Trump.

Bloomberg is irrelevant at this point. Persist at your own peril.

    Edit

I guess DNC convention shenanigans could amaze but that’s death for Democrats. Would they be that stupid? We know the answer.

I heard Bloomberg pledged another $500m to defeat Trump. Is he gonna keep his word and finance Sanders or Warren? I got my answer. You’re not gonna like it.

Barring our prior disagreement about the market for bitcoin, always respected your willingness to see reality for what it is given the absolute need for a successful trader to not wishfully delude himself. Perhaps others here will come to understand what you speak of before it’s too late to ask me with my fellow comrades for help getting their families preferential treatment at a “re-education camp” they will be “invited” to move to after January.

    Twelve angry men? Lotta votes.

Just riffing.... I saw Trump in Phoenix just after the debate. The tone of the two events juxtaposed like that. It was weird theater.

The only way I could make sense of it .... my only thought as I switch it off was .... Trump is a natural performer. He LOVES the stage. He was having a blast up there. It’s kinda a big thing if you wanna be a politician.

    Something to ponder mikey
