Completely agree w this statement. Problem is that shipped sailed w Perot and it ainít coming back either. Too much money is at play to think our elected officials could regain their moral compasses and become statesmen. So we continue our slouch towards Gomorrah.

Bernie Sanders may win South Carolina next week.

Last poll, Biden was up 5 points in South Carolina but that was two days ago.

Mike Bloomberg not on the ballot in South Carolina.

Clint Eastwood now endorsing Mike Bloomberg for President.

Is Bloomberg even registered in any state on the Democratic ballot for President?

The whole Socialism = Communism = Not Democracy = Authoritarian = BERNIE argument is pretty weak considering Trumps authoritarian tendencies have been gradually growing pretty much daily since the day he told us not to believe the photos of his inauguration crowds.
You're expecting people to think this through. Have you met Americans?

    that is 100% wrong.

bern wants to turn shit upside down in his vision to make it better. the fact is things are too good right now to even consider his radical approach.

what he wants to do is uproot everything and have the gov take care of it. increase taxes by crazy unknown amounts, not to mention make friends with the taliban and jeopardize our military

no chance he ever becomes president
I'm not a big fan but he'd be better than Trump. Like Trump, most of Bernie's legislative agenda would die in Congress. What's I'm worried about is the relationship with other countries, the functioning of the executive departments and appointments to the federal judiciary. Those are things where the president has a lot of influence without/despite Congress, and Bernie would be a damn sight better than Trump there.

its pretty wild how the second biden started slipping in the polls, we stopped hearing about investigating his son.

hey how do you think Bernie will do in Florida and their giant Cuban population?

i hear they really like socialists

  16. #3436
also there better be a whole lot of unemployed college students that come out for Bernie cause i can tell you from living here, Bernie will get crushed in the Philly suburbs, which usually determines whether you win Pennsylvania

i do admit, though, this is weirdly similar to 2016 when no one gave trump a chance and we talked about how the republicans would never win again.

Bernie uses grievance politics and talks about burning down the system the same way trump does.

blaming others and promising free stuff can be really effective in getting votes.

i think trump will win, but i also thought Hillary would too

the old rules just dont apply.

and if trump does win, who knows.. maybe it will compel the democrats to provide us an actual electable candidate in 2024. not to mention, the longer he stays in power, the worse the republican establishment looks.

Not that he needs your money being a billionaire himself, but if you’re Bloomberg, are you working behind the scenes to try and help Steyer in South Carolina? SC is a spread the money around state more than these early 3. Church leaders, local pols, etc.

Amy, Pete, and Warren have no path .

It’s Bernie v Biden or Bloomberg. The latter two have a difficult but not impossible route if they emerge the Bernie alternative.

If you’re Bloomberg, you can’t let joe get any momentum yet SC is old and black. It’s a natural fit for him.

Steyer is running on reparations and everything else and if you’re Bloomberg, you’d rather Steyer split the black vote and let Bernie somehow cobble enough votes together to win. That ends Biden completely.

I can’t see where a Bernie win in SC hurts Bloomberg in any way beyond it continues Bernie’s momentum, but he already has that anyway. His only hope is that the party clamors for a savior and he needs joe dead. After SC, only 5% of the delegates required will have been allocated, so if joes dead, you have plenty of time.

It wouldn’t shock me if Bloomberg was spending his energy in SC not on himself, but on Steyer.

This tweet contains a thoroughly enjoyable mashup vid of notable predictions over the past year by establishment media talking heads about Bernieís prospects in this nomination race.
