Bernie has a brain but no grasp of reality.

He's selling an idealist pipe dream.

Warren is a huge phony and is generally off-putting.

    Biden is old and confused.

The Dems couldn't have done much worse if they were trying to lose.

Biden is getting the nomination though. And he's going to be as inspiring a candidate as Bob Dole.

He, at minimum, is old white and authentic which is kind of important to grab back voters in those states enamored with trump. I just meant if you want a truly progressive country, you get there quicker by trump failing than by Biden winning, so sitting out is logical if that’s your ultimate vision.
Bernie has a giant heart, and no brain.

Makes for a good grandpa, but a terrible politician.

Somehow still looks better than the rest of the Dem field, which is exactly why they are running 50 candidates.

Brokered convention = Party insiders pick the favorite, and rob Bernie.

Somehow I hate his politics, but they have backed me into a corner of voting for him in the primary to spite the establishment.

Democratic Party is a walking contradiction.

Biden is a joke, no way in god's green earth he goes wire to wire. What a sucker bet, sorry Druff. It's Warren all the way, which is why Trump 2020 is the lock of all locks. Bet big, and borrow if you have to.
if there's a brokered convention, they're going to give it to the candidate with the most delegates going in or there will be a mutiny

    warren won't win one state

Ha! Even Tucker Carlson thinks Bernie could beat Trump in the general election!

Tucker Carlson Issues Ominous 2020 Warning To Trump And All Republicans
    https://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/us_5...b673621f7ad161

Tucker Carlson is warning President Donald Trump and other Republican candidates running this year that they shouldn’t assume they’re going to win just because the economy is booming. Beneath the surface, he said, there are warning signs that the core demographic that helped Trump win in 2016 isn’t benefitting.

Carlson pointed to a Pew poll that found 56 percent of Americans rated the economy as excellent or good, but only 31 percent said their families had benefitted. Among lower-income Republicans, 47 percent believed they were being hurt in this economy versus 30 percent who said they were being helped.

“This is the president’s core. It’s his base,” Carlson said. “For a lot of middle-class people, wages are not keeping pace with expenses. Child care, housing, education, health care, they’re all getting more expensive by the year.”

He said the 2020 election will come down to one basic factor.

“Improve people’s lives and they will vote for you, period,” he said. “Republicans ought to write that on their hands.”

However, that could also open the door for Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.). Carlson said:

“If Sanders pledges to forgive student loans, he will still win many thousands of voters who went for Donald Trump last time. Why? Because debt is crushing an entire generation of Americans. Republicans need to make a plan to make it better, or they will be left behind.”
So, don’t say you weren’t warned. By Tucker Carlson, no less.

and he's the only legit democratic candidate standing below the age of 70...

just fucking sad to see that in print...
That’s a direct result of Obama, remember 2010 and 2012? Literally the Democrat party got wiped off the face of the Earth at the local, state and federal level. By that happening you lost a generation of politicians and that is now playing itself out in this Presidential cycle. In another 8 years there will be a whole new generation of Democrats with experience.

In a new Hollywood Reporter interview to support the upcoming Hulu docuseries Hillary, Secretary Clinton pulled very few punches about Sanders, whom she defeated in the 2016 Democratic primary before losing the general election to now-President Donald Trump.

The interviewer asked Clinton about a brutal quote from the series, asking “In the doc, you’re brutally honest on Sanders: ‘He was in Congress for years. He had one senator support him. Nobody likes him, nobody wants to work with him, he got nothing done. He was a career politician. It’s all just baloney and I feel so bad that people got sucked into it.’ That assessment still hold?”

    “Yes, it does,” she replied.

Lulz, Hillary can't just leave it alone after cheating against the guy... now she does interviews bashing him at a critical point in the primary.

    What a bitch.

The DNC and friends really are doing all they can to fuck him. I hope his supporters see all of this and stay home again in 2020.

In an interview with the publication, Clinton also did not commit to supporting Sanders if he were to become the Democratic nominee for president. "I'm not going to go there yet," she said. "We're still in a very vigorous primary season."

trump -149 is looking like a better and better bet...like they literally can't put aside petty differences to rally behind a common goal of kicking trump's ass in 2020...

she rolled that back completely and said job #1 is ridding the democracy of trump and she would gladly support any nominee.

why bother to get on any record with this stuff in the first place? it's just ammo that can be used at some point and time against Bernie...like we get it, she's butthurt that she got outplayed in a hand...no reason to torch the rest of her stack (the 2020 election) over one poorly played hand...

post November 2020, have at it...

She had to because of the outrage. But the takeaway here is that she hates Bernie and is even afraid to say she'd back him against Trump (whom she hates more) because she doesn't want such a comment to give him any edge in the primary.

She could have simply said, "I will back any Democratic candidate against Trump", but she wanted to leave it ambiguous so people would fear voting for Bernie in the primary, thinking that perhaps many prominent Democrats won't support him in the general election.

The DNC absolutely despises Bernie, and they think he's an Independent who is using them for a Presidential run. Their attitude has been, "You weren't one of us before, so you're not one of us now."

And they will do all they can to fuck him.

the agenda is scary with this one. old school do nothing politician with tons of awful policy and self profit. it's nice she's using her influence to do more harm.

some peeps may not like trump but he exposed this bitch for what she is. i still get great satisfaction watching him rip her a new one in practically every debate and she just stood there smiling like it didn't even bother her. but you know deep down she knew she's living a lie and she was gutted.

what interests me is that mainstream dem socialists like aoc are now openly positing the pros/cons of splintering away from the democratic party. which makes nothing but sense if you chart their relative positions but also guarantees that neither of them shape policy in this country for so long that the evangelists might make them illegal before they get the chance.

it's needed. this country desperately needs a moderate third party to govern while the fringes stay on the sidelines
