Based on the size of their recent Democratic rallies.

This could be the Democratic ticket to go take on Trump.

I agree with this a bit. The most important question to ask individual citizens about the economy is, financially do you feel you’re better off than you were 4 years ago? You’re going to find very few people that are worse off and the people that are on the up swing won’t want to vote for anything risky that might jeopardize that. All these stories the Dems recite of honest hard working people doing everything they can to make ends meet but just can’t catch a break are silly. I’m not saying these people don’t exist but its a very small percentage and not 90% of the country as they would like you to believe.
The economy does not swing in quick cycles like four years so your first point is irrelevant. And asking individual citizens such a question is like asking them where is Canada

    Thinks SNL is too mean:

It doesn’t matter how the economic cycles swing numb nuts. It matters how people presently see their financial situation. For Christ’s sake, CNN just did a poll where 76% of the US view the economy positively. You really think that lines up with the Dem narrative that everyone is working 60 hours a week and can’t make rent? Stop with your mindless wondering and think for your self for two seconds.

Only three US Presidents have not been re elected the last almost 90 yrs (who had been elected and served their first full term). Hoover in 32. Carter in 80 and Bush41 in 92. All three had economic issues hanging on them like an Albatross. Ford never was elected. LBJ chose not to run again. It’s the economy stupid fits the re election storyline when it comes to Presidents. Trump isn’t losing.

This is the ticket that would ensure a Trump victory.

D's supporting this are daft beyond comprehension.

that seems like an unlikely outcome to a ticket that will motivate everyone left of the ghost of william buckley to vote for it.

Wage growth skyrockets under the Trump administration policies- especially for the lowest wage industries.

LULZ if you think Trump has any chance of losing.

I agree w/ this. I guess prognosticating / speaking w/ certainty is a type of competition that's purely fun, though it's based on the delusion that anything in the future is actually certain.

the election is going to be decided by who says the least embarrassing / least cringey shit.

on paper its a lock for biden but he's demonstrated a supernatural ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory here.

example; there is exactly zero chance he doesnt get behind a pulpit and start riffing on the perils of 'marijuana abuse' before suggesting 'the law is the law' when it comes to 'narcotics'. at which point you have to ask how he's going to poll when 20% of the prospective dem voters check out emotionally and start silently deciding what pizza they are going to order on election night instead of leaving the house to vote.

Most people don’t start to really pay attention and listen to what candidates are saying until further down the road. I would be willing to bet many of these people saying they would vote for Biden haven’t heard him talk recently and are voting for him simply from name recognition and his connection with Obama. Once they hear him talk and realize Obama isn’t backing him I would anticipate that 48% number to go down.

Also Trump’s 41% seems like that absolute low. I mean I can’t imagine him doing anything worst (what is there?) at this point to make that number drop, more likely to go up.
