Mad magazine was my generation, before video games. The natural progression for most kids was comic books, Mad, and then National Lampoon. Remember, we didn’t have the internet, and cable TV had about 10 channels. Not surprised a 30 something never heard of Mad.

65% of Democrats identify as moderate or conservative. That's why Biden is crushing Bernie in early polling.

Leftists crying about unfair MSM coverage is hilarious.
That 65% you mention identify with the LABELS of “moderate” or “conservative”, but the majority of people who can participate in the Democratic primaries and caucuses favor progressive policies over conservative ones. That has been repeatedly shown by polling, and it due to the successful campaign by conservatives since the days of Rinald Reagan and the scandal-plagued traditional “liberal” Democrats on the Tip O’Neil/Dan Rostenkowski/Jim Wright eras.

Case in point: A close relative of mine who has identified as a Republican since the days of Nixon was kind of shocked to realize that the only specific current progressive policy she did not like was abortion rights, but for years — decades, actually, she was knee-jerkishly voting for Republicans on that issue and the Reagan-era myth of “welfare queens”. She currently plans to vote for Beto O’Rourke in Democratic Primary in her home state if he is still in the race, but otherwise likes the economic proposals put forth by Elizabeth Warren the best among all of leading and semi-leading Dem candidates. And despite this, she still refuses to consider herself a Democrat, as she is still uneasy about labeled as such.

you should take a venture outside of your little bubble. this is not a myth. inner cities are crawling with welfare queens, of all races.

    Anyone hear Tulsi on Rogan?

She sounds like a completely sensible human being.

So yeah, zero chance she gets the nomination.

Even if Biden were to drop out of the race for some reason, Buttigieg is now dead in the water for the top spot on the Dem ticket.

Van Jones re-interviews the Trumball County, Ohio family who all voted for GOP presidential candidate for first time in 2016. Trumball County is where the soon-to-shuttered Lordstown GM plant is located.

Cliffs: The father isn’t voting for Trump in 2020; the mother wanted to vote for Joe Biden in 2016, is again leaning toward him in this election cycle; The only one of them who who indicates that he is considering voting for Trump again is the son who says that he wants Bernie instead of Biden.

Capitalism has completely destroyed middle america. Millions of american jobs lost to cheap labor. Capitalism needs cheap non union labor to survive. Only Communism can now save the rust belt.

America needs a thinker like Hegel but is stuck with the baboon trump.
Socialism is the transitional period of capitalism being taken over by Communism.

Made in America (*actually Mexico, India, Vietnam, China, and anywhere else that can make it cheap)

Plus Trump outsources his political campaign to Russia.

    Diggydow is onto Tulsi Gabbard.

I have never donated to a Presidential candidate but did ship to her. I have never registered as a democrat either.

A military veteran who is anti military industrial $ and the thank you for your service nonsense. Scoffs at the obsession with Trump and the Mueller infotainment.

A Samoan Hindu women. She comes with attitude.

It’s incredible to consider that she was like 10 years old when Papa Bush ramped up the fraud in the Middle East.

Year after fucking year. I like the draft idea to focus people but no politician can sell it and live.

Maybe we need diggy to move her into his podcast as a democratic splinter group.

I hope you’re right. However, a 70 year old establishment Democrat is not the future or the answer.

Trump may be a blessing that stirs a revolution. Let us not suffer this political corruption in vain by anointing another corrupt old women.

    Warren is a showman.

What I also like about Tulsi Gabbard:

    - never caters - at all - to PC bullshit, nor identity politics

    - has a tell where she laughs when she gets annoyed/angry (at 5:10):

    - garners huge bipartisan support b/c she never talks down to Trump supporters
