    again, not really the problem.

the lack of depth in root cause analysis for all the things generating this relentless pearl clutching about "socialism" is highly toxic.

never mind that american socialism has something like 3-5% dna in common with every single country on the 'socialist shithole' hit list.

Obv. There just aren’t many left like Sam Nunn for example. Trump wins in a landslide. He will have more electoral votes this time than last. And yes, I’m willing to put my money where my mouth is.

it's not really the "socialist" label that's off-putting to me.

it's giving your preferred pronouns on your twitter bio.

it's having a 9-yr old vet your choice for secretary of education.

    it's wanting to abolish ICE.

it's wanting to ensure that incarcerated felons can vote.

it's wanting to give illegal immigrants free healthcare.

    you get the point

cool remember how much this upset you when abortions are illegal, you're forced to rehome displaced floridians, and tap water gave your kids cancer but the insurance agencies wont cover treatment because having tap water is a pre-existing condition.

"Swing voters can be quite ecumenical in their tastes, but a healthy percentage of them draw the line at socialists. In terms of qualities that Independents would not want to see in a Democratic nominee, 'socialist' ranks right near the top, identified by a full 33%."

like all bloomberg is trying to accomplish is obliterating trumps composure to help a democrat win the election and we literally cant find one suited for the job, and instead of recognizing this, the candidates are turning against bloomberg.

Blake, polling shows that Sanders currently beats Trump by the largest margin among all feasible Dem candidates, including Bloomberg.

BERNIE SANDERS LEADS DONALD TRUMP BY WIDEST MARGIN OF ALL 2020 CANDIDATES: ELECTION POLL
    https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.new...omberg-1483423

Furthermore, only Bernie has the ability among feasible Dem candidates has the ability to motivate massive numbers of the usually undermotivated young and marginalized voters to the polls, as highlighted by Sanders massive support about the young and Latinos, and is also making great strides in gaining support among blacks, as Biden craters.

Seriously, you seem utterly desperate to hang on the tired and outdated paradigm of the “swing voter” as being most important in this election. That might have been true in the past when everyone pretty much got their info from the same media sources. But with the highly polarized voters bases and information silos, voter turnout is now much more important than the “swing” voters. That’s why Trump beat Hillary in 2016. His campaign motivated his base to turn out while also successfully working to suppress turnout among traditional Dem voters in key states.

And in the current election, Bernie’s appeal to the young and marginalized will drive huge percentages of the traditionally less active voters to the polls, and as Mike Bloomberg spends oodles of cash reminding the traditional “swing” voters how much of a pathological liar and fraud Trump is, enough independent voters will hold their noses re Bernie’s “socialism” and join to vote Trump the fuck out of office. (And hopefully enough of those criminal-enabling GOP senators, too, to flip the Senate.)
