Arrested for 1998 murder after he was dumb enough to submit his fingerprints for a background check to work as a nurse.
The amazing thing to me is that his fingerprints weren't already on file. He didn't drive?

Pulled up to a club at 2am in his car, and to his surprise, a drunk young white girl hopped in, thinking he was her Uber.
Not to ruin the opportunity, he murdered her, and probably raped her prior to that.
When police located the car and pulled him over, he jumped out of the car and took off running, without anyone telling him why he was being pulled over.
He was apprehended.
Amazingly, shortly after the murder, he went on Facebook to make this post:

Stranger on stranger murders are the toughest to solve. Given that murders in urban America are just a normal part of life, maybe it's time that UK style CCTV becomes mandatory, at least for towns or cities greater than 50,000 for a start. Civil libertarians will scream but it might be effective in solving crimes and prophylactically in actually preventing crimes. I don't think that there is an inherent right to privacy on the streets and sidewalks.
