Ivey is appealing the judgment. He is not making a motion to dismiss. He made one before trial and it was denied. There is a big difference. His appeal does not stay enforcement of the judgment. That’s why Borgata has moved to enforce the judgment in Nevada. If you want some input during the show on the issue, give me a call. Listened for an hour last week, but the show and topics move to slow for me. I think you could really use a cohost to keep you on task. Not saying I could do better, just giving you my opinion.

Yeah I knew that. I don't know why I wrote "motion to dismiss". I was aware it was an appeal. I was tired when I made up the agenda.

Regarding the show length, it's a longform show. It's not for everyone. Some topics move slowly, others move faster (you can see by the timestamps). Part of the reason the timestamps exist is so people can jump around if a topic doesn't interest them, or is moving too slow for their liking.

If Phil shows up at the WSOP, Borgata will likely put a lien on any winnings by Ivey. It would be pretty easy to do. The Rio would then be obligated to turn the money over the Clark County sheriff or US Marshall, depending on procedure. Ivey could stop enforcement of the judgment by posting the 10 million with the court, or buying a bond, which is cost prohibitive here.
