Better room rates at Caesars properties

Iíve always used a little trick to book rooms at Caesars properties when the rooms werenít comped. Iíll use my upcoming trip to flamingo in July. When searching rates in July for 3 days was 41$ a night. But if I booked 4 days I got it for 30$ a night. So I booked 4 days then called and canceled the 4th day and got the lower rate. Iíve done this serveral times since I donít gamble very much outside of NL hold em I donít always get my rooms comped.

I know you attempted to delete this message, but I want to respond because it raises a good point.

I don't think you're accomplishing what you think you're accomplishing.

Caesars sites like to tell you your nightly rate for a multi-night stay without stating your rate for each night individually. You can find this information out by clicking "View Details", but some people don't realize that.

So if you see $41/night for 4 nights, that doesn't mean you're actually paying exactly $41 per night to make $164+tax. It means that the AVERAGE RATE is $41 per night. It means you could be paying something like $25, $25, $40, and $74. When you drop off the last night, which is $74, you suddenly go down to a $30 average, and you think you did something clever.

While we're discussing this, there is one annoying features on caesars.com called "adaptive pricing", which RAISES THE PRICE if you are showing interest in booking but not pulling the trigger yet. So let's say you look up prices at 3pm and then at 4pm you go back to actually book. You MAY SEE A HIGHER PRICE which is artificially inflated, assuming that your return to the site means you are going to book, and you'll probably be willing to pay a higher price!

To avoid this, DO NOT LOGIN TO YOUR TOTAL REWARDS ACCOUNTS TO BOOK until you are actually ready to book. And if you're just curious about prices (not adapted to your account/play), still use another device or "incognito mode" to look at the prices offered to the general public.

If you are Diamond or Seven Stars, and can reach the US-based 800-CAESARS reps, you can also sometimes talk them into lowering the price back. Make sure to take a screen shot of the original price if you're not booking right away.

Finally, you can use the code FLEXLV1 to save 5% if you're not already using another discount code, and if it's not a holiday or special event.

I just seen your response Druff, I’m aware of the average nightly rate and learned something new with adaptive pricing. I always wondered why that shit happened “prices would raise and lower” when looking.

I always use total price so room rate, resort fees, taxes. My upcoming trip July 6-9th, I booked the flamingo because I like their pool. the total price for 6-9th was 322$ by booking 6-10th my total price was 340$ I called and canceled my extra day and now I’m paying 290$ total for the 6-9th I’m saving about 30$. Because I got a lower rate booking more nights. I used the wsop9 offer code as well for both price comparisons (trying to be transparent as possible). Also I’m platinum but only because open the credit card and once my status expires I close it, wait about 9mths ish apply again and get my status I’ve done this off and on the last few years.
