A an officer-involved shooting took place outside of the "north valet" area of Bellagio on Flamingo Rd. Reportedly they shot a robbery suspect.
The north valet is the entrance from Flamingo, which is closest to the poker room.
I am hearing rumors that there was a poker room robbery, and he was shot by police on the way out.
The suspect is alive but his condition is unknown.

According to player Randy Ohel, it was a robbery of the poker cashier. The poker cashier is closest to an exit, hence the reason it is targeted so often.
Another player claims he was outside in the north valet area when the shooting happened.

I think he was someone who used to date Clonie Gowen?
Rick Fuller was part of the Joe Sebok clique in the mid-2000s.
Had some moderate tournament success, and I thought he vanished, but I guess he's been around and just not hitting any real scores.
I don't know if he dated Clonie. If he did, I never heard about it.
He had a girlfriend at the time I knew him, and she was hot. She wasn't anyone known in poker.

Robbery occurred in the poker room at 9:45pm.
Suspect exchanged gunfire with police at the north valet, hit one in the chest, who was wearing a bullet-proof vest.
Then the other police officer shot the suspect.
Seems that they really should do something about securing that specific area.
Glad to hear the thief was hit and in custody, also good to know no one was hurt seriously.
Curious which low-life-grinder is responsible for this, I assume we will find out soon enough.

That was the first of two Humpty Hump lookalike robberies. The second one, at New York New York, was caught.
The second was probably inspired by the first. It was only 2 months later.
I can't wait until the name of this robber gets released, and we can find out his poker credentials.
Regarding white humpty above, my understanding is the suspect is allegedly involved in multiple scams / robberies / etc. across the valley (and possibly the country) and LEO are working multiple crimes back to white humpty. Based on the similar circumstances and some other info, it seems possible the suspect shot last night could be the same white humpty, but that is only speculation. However we will find out soon (at least who was shot last night).

I was right, he dated Clonie Gowen back in 2006.
At one point in her relationship with him, Rick Fuller was writing everything for her to say. She posted something apologizing for it on pocket fives.
Vanessa Russo and Liv Boeree took their sponsorship to a new level years later. Vanessa got Chad Brown sponsored for PokerStars when she was a team pro.
Liv got Igor a PokerStars sponsorship because she was dating him not because he had been way more successful in tournaments and had made millions more in actual poker winnings.
Thank you Clonie for proving that getting sponsorship in poker only has to do with your popularity and how your ass looks, actual poker skill is not required.
The Bellagio poker cage to the north valet is still a bit of a distance, but you wouldn’t have to run through the casino to get out. It is also more vulnerable, because there is no actual “cage” there to protect the money or the cashiers. Employees often come in and out of the door on the left (see the pic above). Waiting for it to open and barging in would be no problem.
