back in the 50s/60s a deal was basically struck with the black community where by they would police their own (self-determination) and in exchange the racist pigs would stop letting their dogs tear them apart in the street for sport etc.
everyone won. or should have.
the gains of the civil rights movement were squandered, the black community did not, in fact, police its own. and it was probably hubris that made it even think it could.
so i think what im more curious about is what you would do to repair the black community.
because literally the only thing i can come up with is to finance the expanded presence of the Nation of Islam into our jails and inner city streets.
