Going to come clean, Mushy peas

I bought a can o Mushy peas (Batchelors) Chip Shop Style
a year ago or more (as a joke) but was afraid to open them.

Well months of counselling and odd auditory messages forced my hand so I tore the tin,
ripped the seal, busted the bubble, deflowered the old gal etc., etc.
And I must say........... not bad.
A little salt never hurts

Mushy peas are top top. Going to have some tonight with me Friday nigh fish and chips, but IMO the thing they go best with is a pie, as in pie and peas. Or, in similar way, but more epic, my go to chippy order when back in wigan, pudding, chips, peas and gravy, possibly with a barm and/or a smack.
