Not during an actual hand but here was the situation. Going into the FT of the USPO Main 100k Buy in.. There were three people who could potentially win the title Sean Winter who made his 6th out of 10 FTs in this tournament and had been crushing it only needed to cash (finish 5th or better to win it all irregardless of anybodyelse after he retook the lead after Event 9 from last years winner Steven Chidwick.. Chidwick being bounced when he did the Main Event ensured he COULD NOT win it regardless of what happened at the FT). The remaining were Nick Schulman who had an outside shot but was soo short stacked his chances were slim.. And David Peters.. with Winter going out in 8th he was still basically the massive favorite to win the Series Title and extra 100k bonus unless...… Yes the only remaining threat was David Peters who would have to win the whole tournament to take the Series Title and the 100k.. If he did so he would finish with 550pts (barely edging Winters 540 and Chidwicks 530).. To make it worse Peters was pretty short stacked when Winters went out in 5th out of 7th place 3rd to 7th were tightly stacked 690k at 3rd with Jason Koon to Bonomos 7th place stack with 530k (level was 10k/20k with 20k BBA) the top 2 chip stacks had 1.4m and 2.2M so there was a huge gap between the top two and the bottom 5.. That makes Peters ability to claw back and win the whole thing pretty impressive.. Not going to lie I was rooting for Winter who finished 2nd in pts but made 6 out of 10 FTs compared to Peters 3.. Oh the final irony.. Peters who needed to win the whole tournament to take the series won ironically with Dead mans Hand A8os.. Kinda fitting if I must say so..
