Article about today's Los Angeles area snow: https://www.latimes.com/local/lanow/...221-story.html
Sadly the storm system was very light and didn't bring much precipitation.
It was one of the rare times where a storm system came into Los Angeles cold enough to drop snow.
Came home from two weeks of killer skiing in Utah. My deck has over 3 feet is snow, and I am only at 6000 feet.
Imagine if you are on a nice mountain drive in California and encounter this:
That's Mt. San Jacinto, state route 243, which is southeast of Banning. It's a bit west of Palm Springs, though obviously very different terrain (also it takes awhile to drive between the two, due to mountains being in the way).
Would you attempt to pass here, or would you turn the fuck around? Note that turning around and going the other way would take hours.

two days ago, conditions were bad and i was laughing to myself about
the pussy drivers who ventured out.
ten minutes later i came to a light at the end of a long decline road
abs brakes....... you as well have none as i slow slid down the hill and bumped into a guy
who let me know it was a brand new vehicle
Last summer I had a wasp’s nest under my eave. Didn’t want to kill them so I tried to use my bbq coal starter to smoke them out. The window got hot and when I tried to open it, the pane cracked. I was unsuccessful. That’s what happens when you send an attorney to do an exterminator’s job.
I made an appointment with the only window guy up here to get a bid. He never showed up or called back. Such is life up here in the hills.
