Any DDoS problem has been handled for now.
There's something else going on.
Here's what is killing me:
I get a TON of these in error_log each day, and I can't figure it out. I've googled and read everything about that message, but I can't figure out why it's happening or how to stop it.[proxy_fcgi:error] [pid 24730] [client 66.xx.xx.xx:64409] AH01071: Got error 'Primary script unknown\n'
I'm not sure if it's related to these occasional server freezeups, but I'd like to solve this either way.
It's me bro, the social hacktavist faggots cant stand to see me post....

Ugh, down for 4 hours during prime hours (7:30pm - 11:30pm PST approx).
Same issue.
Stopping and restarting httpd fixes the problem, but I'm not sure what the exact problem is, nor what's causing it.
Still looking into it.
If I can't get a handle on this, at the very least I will write some kind of script to monitor the server and automatically start/restart httpd when this happens.
Someone is probably trying to use an i-pod.
Okay, I think I fixed the "Primary Script unknown" issue.
It was due to the existence of pokerfraud.com.
Basically pokerfraud.com had run in two ways in the past -- pokerfraud.com/forum or pokerfraud.com, but currently only the /forum version of it worked.
So search engines were getting a ton of file not found errors, and I didn't have error handling set up well, and it caused a big clusterfuck.
I believe I've fixed the issue.
However, that may or may not have been what was causing the freeze-ups.
If the site won't connect for you going forward, please let me know.

Thanks for posting that, but I had rebooted the server at that time, so that's why it was down.
Anyone having problems going forward, please let me know.
TY
Anyone seen any crashes here since 4:30am PST on Wednesday?
