I always liked 4Dragons on the forums, so it gives me no pleasure to report this.

But this is pretty serious biz, so I decided I'd share it with everyone.

In most cases, when forum members disappear due to being arrested for a crime, I find that it's best to keep their privacy, unless the person is a danger to the PFA community.

While 4Dragons is not a real danger to this community (you'll see why shortly), I feel that his crime was serious enough to where it needs to be reported out here anyway. I know that people on these forums establish friendships and business relationships with other members, and therefore it's important to reveal any convictions of serious crimes of members here.

4Dragons is currently on probation until 2023, and is not allowed to use computers during that time, so don't expect him to read or respond to any of this.

While I know nothing about the case besides what's on that site I linked, my best guess is that he was part of one of those pedo online networks where they all exchange child porn with one another. Those networks are hard to crack because they're careful who they let in, and often the initiation involves sharing a video they hadn't seen before, which puts law enforcement in an awkward position because they don't want to distribute child porn themselves.

Sometimes law enforcement cracks one of these networks by busting a pedo on an unrelated matter, seizing his computer, and then taking over his account.

Once law enforcement is into one of these networks, they wait for the pedos to exchange videos/pics to incriminate themselves, and then they get a warrant from the various ISPs involved and identify the people behind the screen names.

My guess is that 4Dragons was on one of these networks, and got caught up in one of those.

It does not seem from the charges that he produced any child porn, nor does it seems he's accused of actually molesting any children.

Still disturbing stuff, though.

It's also worth noting that "child porn" is any pornography featuring kids under 18. It does not specify which kind of child porn he was caught downloading/distributing -- whether it was teenagers, or whether it was little kids. Hopefully it was the former. Bad either way, but those who get sexually turned on by young kids are on a whole different level of sick.

I know this guy is garbage, but it seems odd that for five years he can’t have a beer at home because he has a sex related crime. Or maybe there are related previous issues with drugs or alcohol. They also don't attempt to bust people who truly appear to have accidentally downloaded porn featuring non-obvious minors. For example, if you downloaded a ton of porn and one happened to feature a 16-year-old girl who is billed as 18, you wouldn't be in trouble, nor would they be investigating you.

They go directly for the guys who seek out porn featuring minors, usually on those pedo networks I talked about.

There are also the cases like Larry Nassar and Jared Fogle, where they get busted for sex related crimes and then a subsequent search of their computer turns up child porn.

I don't think he had regular contact with kids, but obviously there's no way to know for sure.

He did have two daughters, but he rarely saw them, and they lived with their mom. They're both in their 20s now. He got busted a few years ago for unpaid child support (also listed in that link in the OP), which explains one of his other disappearances.

I know about the daughters because he sent me a message shortly after Benjamin was born, and asked how he was. Then he revealed that he had two teen daughters, but that he hadn't seen them in awhile. I asked why he wasn't seeing them, and he claimed it was due to the mom making it difficult for him to do so. I never asked for further details. I don't think he molested the daughters, or he'd probably have been in prison for many years, a long time ago, and we never would have known him.

I went out with a girl who was molested by her dad right up until the age of 15. She confided this info to me one night and I wouldn't let it go because he had 2 young kids through a different marriage.

I hired 4D to help design the website of the failed "Low Limit Poker Radio" podcast 5 years ago.

Why did it fail? The original concept was a 2 man team of "The Templar" and myself discussing threads and topics from here, DD, VPR, Skatz etc. in a sports talk radio format. The concept was shared with Pikachar and he wanted in as a 3rd member. I enjoyed interacting with him during FLR so we both agreed to put him on.

Well we all know what happened to The Templar. So that really affected the dynamic and feel that was needed for it to be successful. So when VPR was launched the plan was for us to do pilot shows with the intention of adding LLPR to the VPR mix.

The real reason that I left LLPR abruptly was when the whole Jasep thing started to go down, I woke up one morning to find Pika hammering my Skype letting me know what was going down with Jasep and to ask Jasep to make an offer for VPR, or his piece of VPR. One thing of note is that I had no idea whatsoever that Pika had pieces of VPR.

Then it dawned on me, if Pikachar had a piece of VPR, he had carte blanche to have LLPR on VPR day one. Therefore he lost my trust.

The real ironic part of the story was the only show that had real listenership was the show that we did the night of the entire Jasep scandal. And learning of 4D this morning put the whipped cream and cherry on top.
