What joke? The only joke here is you, actually trying to draw shades of grey with something that's so obviously black and white, you pudgy oaf...

Look, I don't know where the line is when it comes to child porn in America. If he's been snagged for watching/distributing 16/17yo's doing porn, then he legit has my sympathy.
So I will concede that that is a grey area if the law can ruin your life for that... Though still a bit creepy, I assume most of us would agree with that?
Here, you wouldn't get done for watching a 16yo consensually having a dick in her ass (I think). But I constantly see people walk with a similar light sentence to 4d for having thousands of indecent images of young children (16-). So this is where I'm struggling to believe that he may have just gotten unlucky.
But I'll happily climb down if he's stepped his toe over a very harsh line... Though right now I'm thinking he's a dirty fucking beast who's dabbled in (16-) child pornography.
Is anybody here trying to get some clarity on exactly what he did?

He wasn't totally private with his name. At one point he left the forum and linked to his Twitter, which had his full name up there for everyone to see.
For that reason, a ton of people here knew his name anyway.
People would have googled and found it anyway.
I also felt that this crime was serious enough to where the protection of personal info was less important than letting the community know.
Let's say he was in jail for a DUI, or for dealing drugs. I wouldn't have posted about it, and I would have protected his personal info if people did attempt to post a link to a mugshot with his name.
However, this one crossed the line enough to where I felt people should know.
It definitely wasn't personal, as I never had a problem with 4Dragons.
He's in the sex offender registry. If he's in danger, it would be from some vigilante in his area looking at the registry and wanting to harass pedos, rather than anyone from here.
The problem with downloading/uploading porn of 16-17 year olds is that often you're not watching something consensual. Many times these kids are forced/blackmailed into it by someone (even parents), or sometimes it's a porn-for-drugs trade, or sometimes they will pick up homeless teen runaways and make them do this in exchange for money and shelter.
These aren't adults making porn a career choice.
This is the same reason why seeking underage prostitutes is so bad (and why Jared from Subway got such a long sentence).
Keep in mind that many states, including Nevada, have an age of consent of 16. However, you still can't watch 16-year-olds in porn in these states, for the reasons stated above.
Even if you feel 16-year-olds can make the choice to have sex with adults without it being any kind of crime, porn is a completely different matter.
With that said, like others here, I would love to know what kind of child porn he was downloading/trading. I will concede that it's far more serious if it involved little children, versus teenagers.
Druff is right about the twitter angle. I remember clicking the link in his sig and the cunt had over 100,000 followers. obv 99% were bots, but he did put himself out there.
I do think Druff digs up personal info on people he doesn't like on here though, for a potentially rainy day.
I saw that dupe account Julian Assange wanted to know how I found this out.
No, I wasn't doing research on PFA users.
Someone found this and PM'd it to me. I won't reveal who did it. They did not explain to me why they were looking him up.
After some thinking about what to do, I decided it was better for the community that I reveal it.
Just to clarify, I will only reveal something like this to the public if:
- Someone has been arrested for a crime which makes it far more likely that they would scam people here. I'm talking about a recent or semi-recent arrest, not if you were arrested 20 years ago for stealing out of the cash register at your job.
OR
- Someone has been arrested for a serious crime
It's a tough dance sometimes figuring out how to straddle the line between privacy of users and protection of the community.
Looking up court docs in the US can be very hit or miss, depending on whether Federal, State, County, family court, supreme court, local appeals, federal appeals, ... Every court has different amounts of info online. In the best cases, you can find every court doc down to when court payments were made and accounted for line by line. In a lot of case, you can't find shit, and don't even know where to start.
4d doesn't appear to be one of those cases where you find the court search engine and they vomit up everything.
