This is interesting...
Seems it would not be such a bad thing for everyone. I live in Florida which just passed amendment 3 this election, which means no gambling expansion without voter approval so it would presumably take years for a bill to make it to a ballot, then pass the 60% voter approval bar (high). It would seem to me, in Florida at least a a Federal bill to enable sports betting, would mean we would have legal sports betting in Florida much sooner than it would take to get one via the States approval. Also I read the basics in the bill and I think its actually good, and fair to most. It doesn't include any entitlements to the leagues.
