    The Paramount Ranch in Agoura has burnt down.

    This makes me sad.

    It's an active outdoor studio used for movies, usually westerns. It is open to the public, and has hiking trails behind it.

    I visited there with Benjamin twice, and even went there myself on one of my bad anxiety days, in order to calm myself down.

    Westworld was filmed there.

    Very sad that it might have been my last visit there. It has burnt down.






    I hope they rebuild it.

    so does it feel rude to anyone else that todge is ducking my insanely generous hospitality yes his kid and gf have to stay in the garage but i have a washer dryer in unit like cmon

    I've been evacuated twice in 10 years. It is pretty fucking traumatic experience.

    Last year in the Canyon Fire 2, I could not make it home fast enough from work to gather any belongings. 10 years ago during the Freeway fire not only I had to pack up my shit but have to drive down the street to pack up my sisters belongings who happened to be at Catalina Island.

    Just learned today that my best friend growing up lost his house in the Paradise/Chico fire. His father is also losing his battle with cancer.

    Even though we had a major falling out over a woman and have not spoken to him since, I reached out to him to offer a place to stay for the time being.
