    saw that, very interesting...from what I remember the regular G league guys don't make shit...will be interesting to see how that flies with these select guys making like 3-4x what the regular G leaguers make...

    They needed to go like $500k to outbid the Louisville type programs. At least it will be blatantly obvious who is paying players when some kid goes to a school and he’s a top 10 player

    If you know you are a lottery pick anyways, it might be worth it. When you are in college you have to go to class (theoretically), plus there is limited time you get to work with your coaches, and you can't make any $$ on the side through promotions or whatever. Going into the G League you have way more time to focus on your craft AND outside opportunities to make $$. Probably worth it if you are a lottery talent.

    One year mandatory and done was akin to slavery. Can't even accept a meal while the ncaa gluttonously gets every last dribble by exploiting these athletes. Ncaa is an evil hypocritical entity.

    won't argue with this, but would you rather be coached by K/Cal/etc or some guy in the G league? I get that G league coaching is theoretically NBA coaching, but shit is probably far worse than what you are gonna get at an elite basketball factory...
