Made a phone call to the insurance company (Asurion) that handles Verizon repairs if you opt in for the coverage.
Tech arrived at the office at 3:30pm and the phone was fixed not long after.
Amazing. When I made the call I was prepared for all kinds of horseshit. Never expected same day on site service
