    Becoming a high tech bookie

Does anyone have any knowledge about setting up an online book? I don’t mean from scratch but more like getting on an established network. Is it priced per player, a flat yearly? I’ve got a “friend” who has been steadily growing his bookie business. He has a pretty decent stable of local bettors who are reliable. But the paperwork, tracking, constant text messages, etc is just becoming overwhelming. Linking to a network would not only solve those problems but also open up other sports, online casino offerings, etc
It's hilarious that we as a society think everyone can be a dr, a lawyer, an engineer. Some people are just fucking stupid. Why can't we just accept that?

Such a great idea to start the exact same year that the courts essentially legalized sorts being nationwide.

The 2 places I know first hand is per acct with discounts as you grow your acct base. So say you get charged $50 an acct for your 1st 10 player but if you grow it to 50 they'll only charge you $40 and 100 would be like $30 etc.

Literally only makes sense if you're dealing with 10+ ACTIVE players, otherwise it's a waste man. Google sheets that shit and you csn put it on your phone.

This might sound silly, but how do you get on with them? Just call them up?

I also they want some sort of assurance you have funds? Or do they give a shit if you roll your guys? The networks I’ve bet on are non-descript and I’ve dealt with a local. If I got rolled it would be only the local I know I suppose

Prob just call them and get setup

As long as you pay them monthly for whatever accounts you have active I don't think they give a fuck

I dont really think they care if "locals" roll their players( see above)

I think Chinas numbers are a little high.

They don’t give a fuck if “your” clients get rolled and they don’t give a fuck if “you” get rolled by your clients. They are paid to fun a website that offers odds to “your” clients. They pay one of the three major line makes for real time line data. They pay to have backup sites and to have a IT team in place. They also pay to have a call center opened for your clients to call into. They don’t care if it’s for real or if the “widgets” are fake. All they are doing is offering you a IT solution.

If you want to go super low cost and get what you pay for check out “pay per head dot com”. They get $5 per player per week. Like I said though you may get fucked because they don’t really care if they put out bad/stale lines because they aren’t in the bookmaking side of the business. One bad line will cost you more than a few bucks a week.

Best thing to do is find a running bookmaker who has their own site but also takes on local books/agents. These guys are a little more $$ but they have skin in the game because the lines they hang they offer to their own real clients. Only problem is you need to know someone...... too bad nobody around here knows these type of scum.

The service costs about $15/week per active player. If you want live wagering, it might be another $5/week. You can also add casino for around $10/week. I have actually played around with the payperhead interface. The one that I used let you choose between betcris, 5dimes, or pinnacle lines. So even if you got slammed by big money on one side of a game, the line would not change unless your selected bookmaker changed their line. You could manually change the line but that becomes a headache. Sorry, I don't have the number for the call center anymore.

playsports365 has a pretty solid interface

    i think it's something like $10 per ACTIVE user/week - if they don't play you don't pay

i've been told by my guy who does math, if your players bet more than $200 per week it's profitable

not to mention the time you save by them doing everything for you

they have great customer service too, from what i've been told

and it works off credit, they don't handle any funds - it's on you to settle up with your players
