Doug has a very bad case of poker burn out.
Socialism is the transitional period of capitalism being taken over by Communism.
Doug shouldn't have felt like he had to play in the main and anyone who thinks he caved to do so for that reason is silly.
It's obvious Doug knows the value that tournament has that only happens once a year but clearly while playing he just didn't like the surroundings and pace of the game.
Doug clearly has lost the passion to play but will continue on covering poker stories creating poker content because it's very obvious he loves that attention and don't want people to forget about him.

I am now routinely seeing this mistake in online publications by supposedly professional media outlets.
