This seems like an overstatement. I'm not trying to say rapping is the easiest thing in the world, but it's not like that beat was levels above anything I've heard before. And lyrically it was good, but I don't think it's something he will have trouble duplicating. It's decent. I think rap is in a pretty good place right now with a lot of up and coming creative artists bringing new things to the table.
Finally put on my headphones to hear the OP's vid, nice! Glad to see it's getting major views. Some other rapper calling out the negative message in other rap.
Who was calling out gangster raps negative influence on impressionable youth on this forum before me? Nobody.
