With all the doubling down on racial identity politics on the left and Biden making no overtures to actually try to heal wounds and move on (despite the rhetoric) I dont see any path to avoid there continuing to be a large, ignorant, disaffected and dangerous right.

Monopolies do not have the right to run roughshod over the American people. That has been proven over and over again. When a company has a monopoly they have a higher responsibility to the public than companies that don't have monopolies. They cannot arbitrarily deny services to individuals. That's what anti-trust laws are all about. It's settled law too, a hundred years old.

Most Republicans -- including me -- came right out and condemned the Capitol riots. I said on January 6 that I hope the rioters are all tracked down and aggressively prosecuted. I made no excuses for any of them.

The left, on the other hand, made TONS of excuses for the summer BLM riots.

"The protests were mostly peaceful!"

"Most of the violence was by right wingers who came in to agitate, or because police attacked protesters first."

"The protests didn't spread COVID!"

"It's beautiful to see so many people getting together and rising up against injustice."
