Just had my first Carl's Jr. and it was really good. But I've made burgers every bit as good or similar
at some mom and pop shop. Point being you can only do so much with ground beef and all the extras.
Unless you're marinating them in cocaine or heroin it's just bullshit. Yes you can get a bad burger
six ways till sunset but you can only get so good.
My daughter was in L.A. recently. Tried the In and Out. "yeah it was good"

I've yet to try In and Out but the people on the internet make it seem really good. 5 Guys doesn't have drive thru (where I live at least) so it can't count but they are very good. Steak 'N Shake is my go to fast food burger. As a kid in Texas I enjoyed Whataburger. I enjoyed Whataburger so much that I preferred it to BK or McDonald's even though those chains gave toys.
