Heat.
It’s peak Deniro and Pacino. Deniro is so good in that movie it makes you consider becoming a career criminal.
The movie is so well made and it’s overall feel is incredible. The way the movie is shot makes it seem so real.

Heat was great, I remember the scene where Al Pacino was talking about a dream of all the victims of homicides he has worked over the years. DeNiro coldly quipped "What do they say?"
Val Kilmer walking down the sidewalk thinking they got away with the bank heist and promptly began shooting when he realized they had not.
Great movie.
Forgot some from my list

Chris Moneymaker's run and Rounders basically destroyed 5 years of my life. I got into a deep poker abyss coupled with pits and alcohol. I remember vividly the Moneymaker run which pulled me into poker and reruns of Rounders kept the hook in. If I had never seen the ESPN rerun of Moneymaker's run on a Thursday afternoon when I was off from work being sick, and Rounders that same weekend, I'd never have got roped into poker or this fucking shithole site.
Anyone ever see Killer Joe? surprisingly good. Also, I loved The Counselor.
The goonies when chunk goes through sloths legs and sloth seems to die.
King Kong -- the scene where Kong holds Ann Darrow in one hand while removing some of her clothing with his other hand: what makes it memorable is after doing that Kong smells his fingers...the original film release was pre-code 1933, so this scene make it to the screen...but a couple of years later the scene was edited out per the Hays Code...it wasn't restored to the film until the 1970's.
North by North West -- ending scene on the train when Eve Kendall climbs into the bed with Roger Thornhill, then cut to the train speeding into a tunnel--don't know how the censors let that pass
(long before there was a PFA i had my Grenade & Crossbones avatar at DD)

LOL! Despite how good he was in the movie, his character died a relatively young man. How fucking dumb to want to emulate that “success”! And the master thief character dying because the career cop wouldn’t let up chasing him was a key plot point of the movie!
Heck! Next thing you know, you’re gonna tell us that you liked the house and money that Ed Norton’s character in The Italian Job, you’d loke to be involved with a major robbery crew and double-cross them during a major heist.
