Fire up Stars - grab token, and the screen is blank... Shit.
Look up if I can replace the battery and find this on NASA's website - "On the back of your token is an expiration date. The token will shut off approximately on that date. The token will no longer authenticate on or past that date."
So I flip it over and true enough there's an exp/date of 31st July/18
Can you believe these little fuckers have an exact expiry date?
I'm sure it stated in the letter I assume came with it, that indeed the token isn't immortal. But fucking hell, It was years ago and the one-time PW sheet it came with is nowhere to be found.
I do have restricted access but it only allows you to play MTT's you are already registered for. It literally doesn't allow you to take any other action. No cashier option, no reordering a new token or PW sheet. Nothing.
No doubt I'll figure it out but I'll be locked out of my acc for at least a week I think.
What a fail.
