    The New Mission Impossible Movie

The best action movie I have ever seen. I saw it today, mind blowing. Tom Cruise did his own stunts, he is definitely the man, and I hate his Scientology bullshit but he is simply is on another level.

i think his legacy is going to transcend the scientology stigma.

the brother makes some good movies, period. like he takes chances and they pay off.

fucking magnolia? incredible. and im not even going to front on live/die/repeat, that shit was a strong entry.

I enjoyed hearing Cameron Diaz say she had swallowed.

It had such amazing potential but somehow just got lost in itself.

Actually, my understanding is the Scientology/weirdo jumping on the coach on Opera stuff kind of derailed his career as far as playing varied/interesting roles, and he is basically just plays the same action hero role over and over now, which is fine. I enjoy most of his movies.

I thought Edge of Tomorrow and Oblivion were two solid Cruise sci fi movies that pretty much flew under the radar here, although I guess they both did pretty good overseas. I didn't even know either movie existed until they hit cable.

saw MI: Fallout tonite. Very solid action and chases and whatnot, but its not like you really care about anyone in the movie, or their well-being. Saw the IMAx, would go 3d if I had to do it over.

As far as action movies go, the MI flicks have been getting tremendous love lately, but this one, at least, doesn't compare very favorably to any of the Die Hards or Fast/Furious movies.

The single memorable line in the movie comes pretty quick in the beginning. After explaining whatever bullshit, Ethan asks the other dude 'Are we clear?' Guy responds, "Crystal." Only funny, charismatic line in the whole movie.

Tom Cruise is now 56 years old.

If he keeps doing his own stunts in these Mission Impossible movies, he'll get seriously injured or worse.

With today's technology, can we really tell the difference between what is fake and what is real?

Outside of doing action movies, Tom Cruise is best known for this video...

Eyes Wide Shut remains a criminally overlooked Cruise performance, one of Kubrick's best imo
