Fuck yeah
Fuck yeah
Stoked, dont get me wrong... but why a movie?
Are there really just like, 95 minutes of plot they feel compelled to cover still?

Awesome sauce as my daughter likes to say.
Though I suspect impossible to bring back as a movie, I miss my Boardwalk Empire sessions as well.
In the opening scene there should be a bank robbery where a gang from Cincinnati rides in and try’s to rob Cy’s joint. Cy dies during the robbery but he shoots and kills the gang leader, John, in the dick, ass and face.
Ya a series with say 6x 1 hour episodes would have been ideal but at this point gotta be happy we finally get some sort of ending
Supposedly the reason we only getting a one off is cos was a massive pain to get everyone in one place for long enough to film but doesn't make too much sense
yeah i completely agree that 6x 1hr would make the most sense, the 'one place' excuse is hard to swallow considering ian david mcshane doesnt have american gods on his plate anymore and kim dickens is the only other regular working and she probably spends 10 hours a week filming fear of the walking dead, badly.

All I can think is that maybe they are worried about a series not getting good enough ratings like before so don't want to commit to even 6 episodes ? Still idk with all the money they are pumping in to get everyone back together and rebuild all the sets why not go all out and make a series
But something > nothing obv so just happy it's coming back as thought no chance this happens and hey if it goes well maybe we get an adventures of Al Swearengen mini series or something after this lol
yeah i think they also feel over-extended on their little GoT-spinoff fiascos and this was their way of diversifying that portfolio because seriously hbo has fuckall else going for it, programming wise.
