WWDD: Heartland Poker Tour edition

What would Druff do?

Tonight I'm in a Heartland Poker Tour $200 6 max tourney. We are down to 12 and hit a standard 15 min break. This break is also a color up break where oddly $100 & $500 chips aren't needed so they are colored up. They do this while you are on break.

Long story short, when we get back one guy says he's $50k short. The floor goes to the chip cage, quick count and agrees the count is exactly $51,000 off and gives him the chips. Short 2 minute ordeal. BUT then another guy says he's 20k short. All hell breaks loose. They pause the clock. They go to cameras. Camera operator doesn't understand the debate. The TD eventually has to go review himself. This whole thing takes over an hour.

Finally they tell the guy he's a dipshit and he's owed nothing. And they missed up the chip race and he actually owes another player 1,000 LMFAO. We were playing 1k ante, 5/10k at this time.


So for the headache, confusion, etc WWDD?

FYI I bust 11th for $614, A10 vs A8. FML

but yeah, that's why you should take a pic of your stack before going on break when they color up chips (which they really shouldn't be able do while you are not there anyway)
