Yup still in the desert, a bit of rain today hope it stops and ill play 9 holes or some tennis. most every thing is shut down here butt all good we bought a bunch of food and have a barbecue and a full kitchen in our villa .
we are going home to chill for a few weeks on Friday, glad my wife and I can do a lot of our work from home office, decent size house so my children can avoid each other... we bough a bunch of food before we left.
hate to leave honestly, we are not super social so we don't have a lot of contact with people especially now. we haven't been in a public setting with lots of people since flying out here and have masks and gloves if need but so far we haven't.
hope all is well with you too Les, your area is pretty spread out and reliativly easy to avoid contact with others if needed and booze and weed delivery is a phone call away, I guess you can get food as well

There is a pizza place next to my favorite watering hole. They serve up a 28 inch pizza. It’s the type of thing you get if you want to try and impress a bunch of 12 year olds at a birthday party. I wouldn’t be caught dead eating it because frankly the quality sucks.
They get $29.99 for it with one topping.
If this shithole gets $29.99 for this sub par, but gigantic, pizza it does beg the question how it’s cheaper to drill a hole in the ground pump out a barrel of crude oil and ship it to the USA in a tanker all while paying for skilled labor and capital investment in the equipment to get it to the USA for less than said pizza.

Yeah I’m deep, way deep in ET at this point. Didn’t see it getting to this. Can’t win them all.
