Although to be fair I believe you did a WWE heel turn at some point in this thread?

There were a lot of doubters back when I was in on Tesla (unfortunately am not now)

    Funny but true punctuation weirdness.

Stock prices are forward looking animals. This early availability is news only to you and me. This info has already been built in the sharps’ model. I always assume I know less than the market. The price informs me.

Thus, if price is forward looking - you sell the actual/news.

My reflex is always to explore the other side. I’m not an investor. I do appreciate the article. It’s important news.

I don’t see how you can sell yet if you have been invested the whole time. This thing may go to 1000. Complete unprecidented territory on the chart right now. Make No mistake you are going to wake up one morning and it’s going to be down $50..... might be 2 months and $300 from now.

from what i can make sense of, the market is sucking wind because the china trade deal is basically pushing off any/all significant reform to 2021.

This news was making the rounds just after lunch yesterday. This was the catalyst yesterday for my TSLA quick hit put and some others. It didn’t get traction then - maybe it is now.

I felt and shoulda posted that I’m feeling (looking) for a mood shift. Just the normal ebb and flow. So we be ebbing? When the market is in that mindset it just looks for excuses that it would have previously ignored.

It’s just the game. I saw your previous comment that it looks like someone knows something. I shook my head. It’s not all fundamentals. Maybe it has very little to do with fundamentals. There’s a lot of poker at play here. “What is the other guy feeling and what’s he up to?”

But then again, you may be right. That why it’s such a great casino.

I’m just suggesting you don’t regard all the moves with so much import.

Admittedly, that is the mind of a trader not an investor. However, you were commenting on an hourly/daily move so that is how we will address it.

I’m still gonna chalk it up to sell the news today.

    Just cocktail chatter.

as indicated on several occasions i know a fraction of a fraction of a percent about trading / markets in general.

so a lot of shit i say is just me doing hot takes (obviously), such as that. im sure as i develop a sense of scale, attribution will become clearer to me (or at least less erratic). in the meantime (and beyond) i always appreciate your insight.

    a tidbit for you...:

TMC forum user wreese had been checking daily and was the first to report that the Model Y VIN format had been registered with NHSTA, and that Model Y VINs can now be used in NHTSA’s official VIN decoder.
i did my first option today at 530 call until jan 31. i want to be ready for that earnings call.

Well those calls went on sale today.

Let’s mark them at $28 for the sweat. Jan 31 Call 1/31.

A cheap recreational high has you buying a slightly out of the money put or call the day before the conference call. They are almost worthless at that point. Pretty cheap. The time value is near dead.

Surprise up or down and they expire worthless or you hit YUGE.

A $520 call is out of the money now, for ex.

I hope you hit or scalp a profit shortly. We are always recruiting new addicts. I got an affiliate program, lol.

pretty brutal dip to wake up to but honestly weve seen these before and this patent, china sales, and model y beat drop in the next 6 months sounds like fire to me.

interesting, one can assign the 'someone knows something' suspicion to this:

    https://www.reuters.com/article/us-t...-idUSKBN1ZF03N

New Tesla registrations in California nearly halve in fourth quarter: data
hoping model y + china numbers are going to make some waves in the next 6 months but the party just might be over and we are settling into an actual, accurate value.

Some donk @ Morgan Stanley downgraded Tesla "writing of his concerns around valuation and underappreciated risks to the company's China business."
