Card Player POY still a joke

Years after mistakenly awarding Druff WSOP POY, CardPlayers POY system has Justin Bonomo, arguably having the best year in the history of the game, in second place after his One Drop win.

Chidwick, who entered the tournament after busting from the $1 million buy-in Big One For One Drop, finished fourth for $177,091. The 29-year-old has now made an astounding 18 final tables in 2018, winning four titles and more than $7.3 million. As a result of this finish, Chidwick has now surpassed Justin Bonomo for the lead in the Card Player Player of the Year race, even considering Bonomo’s recent win.

    That's amazing, but ...

In 2018, Justin Bonomo has now cashed for $24,945,435. That alone would be good enough to come in 8th on the All-Time Money List, surpassing Bryn Kenney and John Juanda but just under Dan Smith who owes his position in the Top 10 to this very same 2018 Big One for One Drop.

Bonomo has, so far, posed for ten winner photos, with one runner-up position, two 3rd-place finishes, three 4th-place finishes, two 5th's, and an 8th and 9th place finish.

At least CJF isn't in the running for POY for WSOP... Deeb is in 1st.. Some Chinese kid who cashed 15X at this WSOP and won the 50k high roller is 2nd and Joe Cada is 3rd Not sure anybodyelse is worth mentioning as I think it comes down to those 3 for WSOP POY after the WSOPE

my favorite CardPlayer POY win story was when Men "The Master" Nguyen won the POY on the last day by cashing in a $500 Crazy Pineapple Tournament at the Commerce
