What fun is it to just say one’s age? Instead a story about a still-much loved album from my pothead days in college that you can deduce my age from.

In the beginning of my sophomore year, my dormmate had bought a Frank Zappa album that had come out the year before that he ended up hating, so much so that he sold it to me for a pittance just to recoup something from the expenditure.

On that album, “Studio Tan”, one particular track, “RDNZL”, stood out to me a shining example of Zappa’s amazing skill as a composer and musician. Mind you, this piece is a bit of a amalgum of genres and pacing, so it’s not suited for most casual listeners. But if you like excellent musicianship and intensely playful instrumental styling, check it out.

Is this caliper shit? If not, that’s superb. Like I have no doubt you’re fit and have your macros nailed, but 7% is really fucking hard. It’s doable for some. I had multiple caliper ones put me at anywhere from 10-12, but I went to that bod pod thing at u of Akron and was at 15.6. I knew the 10 was bullshit. I’m lower now as it’s been my sole focus to lift heavy and strip it all down after 4 years of back issues that finally relented. Most people don’t strip it down before adding real muscle and wonder why they never get there in an aesthetic sense. I finally have my macros on point at like 50/35/15, with carbs obviously the 15, and only healthy carbs, but 7% post 40 without drugs is really damn hard and impressive if you got that low. Really hard to hold too.

But honestly who would even want to be @ 7%? Your entire life revolves around diet and timing meals carb cycling ect and women don't even find that type of body attractive. Women prefer a normal but fit body not something that looks like an alien.

As far as performance goes 12%+ is optimal with regards to sports and training.

I lost 75 pounds then regained 25, since when weight has been within a 5 pound range for 8 months. That’s overall better than past have always regained any weight loss completely and sometimes more gained on top. Now going to refocus and aiming to lose 50 pounds over next year, which would mean 100 pounds loss overall.

The above article compared BIA to BMI and found that BMI is actually more accurate than BIA. And BMI is garbage. So it appears your methodology isn't very accurate. I would guess if you are in real good shape you are probably in the 15% BF camp based on more accurate methodologies.

Waist measurements are influenced by a lot of other factors than BF, so I am not sure that is a good way to defend your estimation, although it would be an indication you are in good shape, which no one is denying.

Are you arguing that you look like the 7% BF example on the last page? Or are you arguing that the estimates in that example are too low?
