Spirit Mountain Casino Poker Room Maxed Out Bad Beat Jackpot but still takes rake

The Bad Beat Jack Pot at Spirit Mountain in Grand Ronde, Oregon has not been hit in 4 years. The Qualifier is quad 8's beaten by a better hand with both cards playing in both the loser and winners hand. The casino take a $5 rake from every-hand. However, The casino has stopped raising the Bad Beat Jackpot at $100,000. However, it is still taking the $5 from each pot. They have a mini bad beat jackpot which is AA full of Kings same rules as the regular bad beat jackpot. The mini bad beat jackpot usually gets hit once a month. They are still putting money in the mini bad beat but not the regular one. Given that information is it safe to assume that the casino decided to stop raising it and pocket the money? I haven't seen any new promotions that suggest they are still giving it back to the players.

I get it them injuns can be shady fucks but hey the white man stole their land to begin with so its their way to recoup from the white man all the shit they put them through

I asked them about the bad beat not increasing anymore and they point out that minibad is still going. But cut me off before I could ask if what was going into the bad beat is now going into the mini bad beat. I dont go there all of the time. However, I havent ever seen the mini bad-beat higher then what it usually is.

So it would seem these crooked fuckign injuns are screwing their customers and gaming should be notified.. What they are doing is illegal and fraud and could lead to them getting bitchslapped by gaming enforcement.. Its down right fraud for them to take a jackpot drop and fail to contribute the funds to the jackpot (which obviously they aren't if the numbers of the big and mini are frozen).

Not sure why PuppyMonkeyBaby was such a cunt to you.

Found some of the rules: https://www.spiritmountain.com/casino/poker#rules

A portion of the funds contributed to the Jackpot are distributed to the players in the form of guarantees, high hands, bounty awards, and other promotions.

100% of the funds contributed to the Jackpot are distributed to the players.

When I see typos like this though, it makes me think they are probably pretty 'incompetent' which results in players getting screwed out of money.

The jackpot shall be divided as follows: 50% to the player with the losing qualifying hand, 25% to the player with the winning qualifying hand, 25% divided equally to the rest of the players at the table provided that they have not missed a blind in Texas Hold’em and Omaha, or been away from the table for more than ten (15) minutes in 7 Card Stud.

Sometimes the Casino's build a reserve BB Jackpot so they cap the BBJ at $100,000. They may have $75,000 in the 1st reserve and $25,000 in the 2nd reserve, so when the Jackpot is hit the jackpot would then goto the 1st reserve instead of restarting at $0 its starts over at $75,000.

This is more likely the scenario than them stealing the money.

Was it ever explained that the jackpot drop was used for the secondary or tertiary BBJs or some other poker room promotion?
