and honestly who can blame them?

the closest we've come to a 2nd gen headset was that Vive Pro debacle that shipped like about a dozen units total.

like i get that in 5 or 6 years, VR is going to be standard everywhere because even cell phones will ship with gtx 1080 or better chipsets and the requisite headset DPI is probably going to basically be Videodrome caliber and slip over your eyeglasses, but goddamned if VR isnt dogshit for the time being.
